Slow Food Asheville teams up with Beer, BBQ, and You to support FEAST

June 6, 2012 by admin

Join Slow Food Asheville and all your new and old friends at a Beer and BBQ fundraiser, hosted by Highland Brewing Company.  The event will raise money for Slow Food Asheville’s FEAST program which empowers school age children to make healthy eating decisions through free cooking classes.

Support FEAST while enjoying great local brews from Highland, BBQ and sides generously donated from local Asheville restaurants including Rosetta’s, Sunny Point Café, Short Street Cakes, and more.  There will be plenty to please vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike.  Groove to live music from the Galen Kipar Project and enjoy a dunking booth, chair massage, and amazing door and raffle prizes!
