$900 for Local School Gardens – Thanks to YOU!!

The following schools received funding to purchase seeds, tools, equipment to help get their school gardens ready for the spring. All funds came from the events you attended and the generous donations you made! Weaverville Elementary School Evergreen Community Charter School Claxton Elementary School The New Classical Academy Asheville Catholic Hot Springs Elementary School.

Who We Are

Slow Food Asheville is a local chapter, or “convivium,” of the international Slow Food movement. Local groups are called “convivia” because they bring together, in a convivial and enjoyable way, people who love food and traditions. Our convivium was founded in March, 2003.
