Blind Pig Dinner to benefit FEAST!

February 19 and 20 2013 – Two nights of “Forever Creole” both benefiting FEAST!

New Orleans James Beard Nominated Chefs bring Asheville the Best of Creole Cuisine and Culture in the spirit of Mardi Gras.

What is a Blind Pig Dinner? Dinners intend to spotlight the creative talent that is unique to the Southern Appalachians with food, art and music combined in one experience. They also proudly raise awareness and funds for local and very important charities with each dinner concept.

Who We Are

Slow Food Asheville is a local chapter, or “convivium,” of the international Slow Food movement. Local groups are called “convivia” because they bring together, in a convivial and enjoyable way, people who love food and traditions. Our convivium was founded in March, 2003.
