Slow Food Asheville Membership Potluck SUNDAY November 6th (PLEASE NOTE CORRECTION!)

October 30, 2011 by bobbowles

Come and celebrate the harvest! Use the fall harvest as your inspiration and bring a potluck dish to the West End Bakery on Sunday Nov. 6th at 5:30pm. Meet your Slow Food board members and find out more about what Slow Food Asheville is all about. Enjoy the company of others who think that good food should be available to all people. We’ll have some wonderful wine donated by local friends of Slow Food Asheville but feel free to BYOB if you can!

This event is open to all members and potential members of Slow Food. We will do a short presentation about the activities and programs that we have going on locally. Please bring your own plate and silverware so we can cut down on waste.
RSVP to  <nsrkramer@gmail.com> if you plan to attend.

Who We Are

Slow Food Asheville is a local chapter, or “convivium,” of the international Slow Food movement. Local groups are called “convivia” because they bring together, in a convivial and enjoyable way, people who love food and traditions. Our convivium was founded in March, 2003.
