Local farmer, Meghan Cole, from Harvest Table Farm has lost her volunteer farm hands this season and still has a lot of work ahead of her. Many hands makes for easy work, and forming a one day crop mob, or volunteering your time one day a week could help Meghan out a lot. If anyone is interested in helping, please contact me at tiabednar@gmail.com. Pulling together as a community to help your local farmers is a very important way to keep a sustainable ecosystem working.
This October, Meghan will need some more help “skinning” the hoop house so it is ready for winter. Who doesn’t want to be on a beautiful farm in October? Come and help us help Meghan get her farm ready for winter!
