Terra Madre Delegate Slide Show & Tell

January 20, 2011 by admin

Come join us at Farm and Sparrow Bakery where we will watch a slide show of our local delegates who went to the 2010 Terra Madre International Conference in Italy, and hear about their experiences there.

This is a wonderful opportunity for folks to get a clear idea of what Slow Food around the world is focusing on, and what our local chapter here is accomplishing.

This event will be a potluck, so please bring a delicious dish to share.  We also ask for everyone to please bring their own utensils, plate, and cup; paper-goods will be provided.

Farm & Sparrow:

Who We Are

Slow Food Asheville is a local chapter, or “convivium,” of the international Slow Food movement. Local groups are called “convivia” because they bring together, in a convivial and enjoyable way, people who love food and traditions. Our convivium was founded in March, 2003.
